The Benefits of Hiring a Professional Designer January 04, 2008 |
The Landscape News FlashThe Benefits of Hiring a Professional DesignerFirst of all, I want to thank everyone for making 2007 such a great year! The Landscape Design Advisor has really taken off and I am getting such great feed back from all of you. And it has been so much fun working with our local Southern California clients as well as all of our online clients in other parts of the U. S. and around the world.
I would like to talk a little about the benefits of hiring a professional designer. While an experienced landscape architect is not a requirement for a beautifully designed yard, the services and expertise of a professional can make it much easier to create the ideal design plan.
A professional garden designer can work with you to evaluate your needs, as well as your personal tastes and desires. You can use this information to plan a garden theme that blends your outdoor living requirements with the overall style of your home. A professional designer understands the various details involved in creating a garden plan that showcases your personality, as well as your home.
A landscape architect or garden designer can: • Select appropriate vegetation for your design theme that will flourish in your climate. • Integrate an outdoor lighting system that complements your home and landscape. • Incorporate color, lines, and patterns into the design for an elegant, uniform display. • There are several other benefits of hiring a professional designer, The bottom line: A top landscape designer can create a beautiful garden for you that will increase the value of your home. So in my opinion, leave this job to a professional design service no matter what the
design cost.
It is quality that you are after here as this is the most important part of your landscape project.
January Garden CalendarOld man winter is here again and there are some important chores to do in this month. Pruning and Bare roots’ planting tops the list. And don’t forget that January is not the time for fertilizing your garden. All the information that you will need is right here in your January Garden Calendar. Finally I would like to wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
