Making Landscape Design
Plans Work for You

Detailed and well thought out landscape design plans are the foundation for an attractive, welcoming, and yet functional outdoor space. Your plans should include a myriad of factors as well as every minute detail regarding the size, shape, terrain, and available space you have to work with.

With the cooler, autumn weather having arrived, it is the perfect time to attend to all of the "behind the scenes" things that need your attention, such as landscape plot plans. These charts or designs are drawn to scale and include important details like property boundaries, terrain features such as slopes and grading issues, and other elements like water features and standing structures.

A site plan or concept plan should also be a part of your landscaping design plans, which are also drawn to scale in great detail and may even include color photos as well as computer aided design renderings and elevation views in 2D to offer the absolute best idea as to how all of your elements will look together.

You'll also have to include details like hardscaping, including fencing, decks, or walkways and driveways, as well as the ever essential plants and vegetation to your plans. Many of these components require the expertise of professionals who are familiar with the technical end of landscaping and who, along with your input and direction, can help you to make your dreams a reality. Remember, we offer complimentary referrals to professional landscapers and contractors who provide free consultations and can assist you with all of your landscape design plans.
