There are three primary factors that could influence your landscape design cost and these aspects can vary from one project to the next. The size of your property is perhaps the most important factor to consider. The actual design area and the features you plan to include in your yard are just as significant in determining the total design cost of your project. So your design cost can vary.

We offer two billing methods that takes the above landscape design cost factors into consideration: The traditional Flat Rate and the easy-to-use
Time Tracker. These convenient methods of estimating gives you the ultimate in flexibility for both small and large jobs or designing in phases.

The Flat Rate method is a fixed estimate of the entire job. Were as the Time Tracker method allows you to simply purchase blocks of time. You can basically pay as you go!

You will have online access to your very own Client Account where you can easily view all your records including time logs, estimates, invoices, payments and more...

Your Client Account also gives you 24/7 instant access to your Time Tracker, the same screen your designer uses to log into (see below). So you'll be able to monitor the progress of your design in real time!

Follow These 3 Simple Steps

Step 1 - Schedule a Free Consultation
with one of our professional designers where you'll be discussing the various aspects of your project including which payment option best suites your needs. Examples of the landscape design cost is Flat Rates or estimated project hours for the Time Tracker are listed below.

Step 2 - You'll receive an Estimate based on your design consultation. To approve, press the accept button at the top of the Estimate. Then carefully read over and approve our landscape design contract by simply entering your electronic signature and pressing the submit button.

Step 3 - Next you'll receive an Invoice
reflecting the estimate that you approved.
You'll have several options for payment. Simply choose the option that you prefer to use to pay your invoice. Once your payment is received, we'll get started on your design.

At this stage it is very helpful to fill out our design questionnaire and gather photos, magazine clippings or online images indicating the look and feel that you are after. Plus you'll need to locate your plot plan or plat map. This document shows your property lines, house placement and other information needed to draw your plans to scale. Forward these items to your designer.

We make it convenient by offering you many payment options. Choose from Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover Card. You can also use your PayPal account or the very popular E-Check payment method which will deduct your payment from your checking account.

Estimated Project Hours*

Below is a list of landscape design projects including approximate Flat Rates and estimated hours of completion for the Time Tracker. Our landscape design cost is based on $150 per hour which includes a 4 hour minimum. All design work is performed by our highly skilled landscape architects and garden designers.

Specialty garden: $600 or 4 hours - Custom site plan with one elevation drawn to scale and in a color-rendered or AutoCAD format.

Small space: $600 or 4 hours - Custom site plan with one elevation drawn to scale and in a color-rendered or AutoCAD format.

Lighting plan: $600 or 4 hours - Custom lighting plan drawn to scale in AutoCAD format including, general lighting and installation notes, technical diagram and lighting legend.

Drainage plan: $600 or 4 hours - Custom drainage plan drawn to scale in AutoCAD format including, grading and drainage notes, technical diagram and drainage legend.

Irrigation plan: $750-$900 or 5-6 hours - Custom irrigation plan drawn to scale in AutoCAD format including, general irrigation and installation notes, technical diagram and irrigation legend.

Planting plan: $750-$900 or 5-6 hours - Custom planting plan drawn to scale in AutoCAD format including, planting diagrams, planting and tree schedules with botanical names, common names, sizes and quantities.

Preliminary concept: $750-$900 or 5-6 hours - Basic concept plan with one elevation drawn to scale in a AutoCAD or hand-sketched format.

Full Site Plan: #1,350-$1,650 or 9-11 hours - Custom site plan with two elevations drawn to scale in a color-rendered or detailed AutoCAD format.

Large estate plan: $1,800+ or 12+ hours - Custom site plan with three or more elevations drawn to scale in a color-rendered or detailed AutoCAD format.
